ABOUT VAIBHAV

Contemporary Fine Jeweller. Family Business. Jaipur.

VAIBHAV DHADDA is a Jaipur based designer manufacturer whose love of jewelry started when his parents would bring him to jewelry show in Mumbai. After graduating from Shri Ram College of Commerce, Delhi and completing his Masters in International Business from Grenoble Graduate School of Business in France, he worked as a Retail Store Manager for Dior Homme at DLF Emporio Mall, Delhi, where he was struck by the beauty of Dior VIII Grand Ball watches collection. It was there he got inspired to make his own jewelry collection using precise gemstones cutting and channel setting techniques. He then moved to Jaipur where he could join his family business as a second generation jeweler. He trained his new team of gemstone cutters to caliber cut the stones to be used in his signature Gradient Collection. It took him six years of dedicated and single-minded effort – and loads of patience – to master the technique of cutting the baguettes into tapered shapes and channel setting them to create patterns. Vaibhav effectively uses gradient colour rubies, emeralds, sapphires, green and pink tourmalines, tsavorites, peridots, amethysts, citrine, aquamarine, garnets, and blue and yellow topaz in his collection. Extensive travelling helps him establish a mood-board, symbolic of the places he visits around the world. He lives with his wife Shruti and parents in Jaipur, where he proudly designs and makes all his pieces.
